Meet Michael
Michael Koludrovich, a midwestern family man with a master’s in Mechanical Engineering, entered the consulting scene creating engineering drawings for all types of projects, from small retail to 20 story high-rise buildings, hospitals, schools and more.
While working as a full-time engineer, he started an escape room company. Nights & weekends he could be found designing & building themed puzzle rooms (complete with intricate set-design, lighting, sounds, smells, & secret passages).
He started privately creating escape rooms for other business owners in Ohio & across the US. This is where his passions for engineering & design started to collide.
Michael & his wife began a large construction project at their house, which became a catalyst for even larger dreams.
The company they hired did things in such a new & refreshing way that it sparked curiosity. Michael’s always been fascinated by how things work but, once he started asking the owner more & more about it, an unexpected opportunity presented itself.
Michael ended up working for the very same company that he hired to do his house remodel & learned everything he could about how their business worked.
In less than a year, he was presented with an offer to acquire the company. Michael quit his full-time engineering job, sold his shares of the escape room, & pursued the dream, rebranding it to Koludro Construct.
